Poly tanks are the liquid storage container solution to most water and chemical storage applications. With more than 17 manufacturing plants we can deliver Poly tanks across the USA, with capacities from 50 gallons to 15,000 gallons.

NSF Goals & Tank Overview , Polyethylene tanks "Polytanks"  provide dependable long term drinking water storage tanks with 3 & 5 year warrantees  standard.

Extended 10 year warranties for water Storage tanks are available, our Polyethylene water tanks are made from NSF 61 and FDA approved resins. White for indoors, black for outdoors (fighting algae where ever we find it). Cross linked polyethylene plastic tanks are available for some higher temperatures and additional chemical resistance with some chemicals.

Tank Mixers and Mixer Bridge Systems.  We can help you design for large or small mixing applications. Plastic tanks require complete Mixer support  bridges to transfer weight and torque exerted by the mixer to tank foundation.

Mixer systems are available from 50 gallons to 15,000 gallons, in a variety of materials and coatings, stainless steel,  carbon steel with hot dipped galvanized  or epoxies and enamel paints.

Well designed tank installations need exact information, this allows to provide you an expedited service.

A. Define Liquid stored, percentage of chemical concentration, temperature of liquid stored, specific gravity, required maintenance temperature. There is a specific relationship between  chemical temperature and concentration that determines a chemical tank material ability to store a specific liquid.

B. Use our  Chemical Resistance Chart to confirm plastic tank and chemicals compatibility.

C . Define Tank volume, gallons/liters and desired dimensions if known (Volumes are total, consider freeboard and space )

D. Plastic tank configurations include Flat bottom, cone bottom & Open top, rectangular, open top, portables and IBC.

E. Specify Process connections, inlets, outlets, vents, level control floats, level transmitters, level gauges, Expansion joints, overflows, man way access size, Define either Flanges, FNPT (female pipe threads), vatalic couplings, call to discuss.

F . Plastic tank process connections will require block Valves on outlets, expansion joints for vibration, gasket materials compatible with liquid.

G . Plastic tank, Tie down systems for high wind or seismic events. Local wind and seismic at installation should be arbiter of design requirements.

H. Structural steel platforms, Skids, Mixer bridges, High wind tie down systems, seismic event tie down systems, Pumps skids, System Skids, Pipe support systems

Elevating a Tank will produce pressure at a rate of: 1 PSIG per each 2.31 feet of elevation.
