Fire Water Tanks to NFPA 20
Fiberglass, Stainless Steel, Polyethylene Carbon Steel, Providing a permanent Long Term Storage and Zero Maintenance...
California sets the mark for this subject and the obvious need for
point of use fire/potable water storage and use system..

Many counties require to new construction
to include fire water storage. The requirements vary, but the obvious
purpose is to have on hand a reservoir of water to use in fighting
fires.

Many of the houses that burn could be
saved. The loss of Electricity means your electric pump will fail. This
failure means you cannot extract water from your well or the community
water system or cistern. It is up to your the home owner to ultimately
be responsible for your family and homes survival. Water Storage and a
gasoline powered pump, will give you access to your available water resources to
fight a fire.
Your polyethylene fire water tank or
tanks, may be buried 1/2 their height below grade. It is recommended
that you keep the area around your tanks free and clear of brush. It is
recommended that you test your gasoline fire pump once a month. Please
consult your local fire department for suggestions as to how you can
help your self successfully fire a fire.
If you are in a dry area, you should
practice what to do in case of a fire. Consult your local fire
department, be aware and follow their recommendations.
Fire Departments recognizes your
responsibility and desire to be your own first responder in a fire..
