De-icing Liquid Storage and Distribution System. 6500 gallon double wall polyethylene tanks, installed on a pea gravel foundation. 1.9 Specific gravity heavy wall tanks allow for the delivery and distribution of highway de-icing liquids. Treated 6X8 timbers box in foundation, pea gravel inside and outside allow for water to run off and away from the tank. Weather protected pumps and valves allow for transfer of liquid to distribution vehicles. Reverse reading Level gauge indicates inventory. Secondary containment assures that a potential failure of the primary container does not result in a spill. |
